A Folklore troop from Bengaluru rural will create and perform folk songs on Water for 20 minutes

ಬಾನಿನ ಗರ್ಭದಿ ಬಿಂದುವಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ,
ಧರೆಯ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಾಗಿ ಇಳಿದು,
ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಜೀವಾಳ ಈ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜಲ,
ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ನರ್ತನದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಕಾಲ.
ಝಲಝಲ ಹರಿಯುವ ನದಿಯ ನಾದ,
ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಧುಮ್ಮಿಕ್ಕುವ ಪ್ರಪಾತ,
ಬಾಯಾರಿದ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ತಂಪಿನ ಹನಿ,
ತಣಿಸುವುದು ಜಗವ ಈ ಅಮೃತವಾಣಿ.
ಗಿಡಮರ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳ ಹಸಿರ ಉಸಿರು,
ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳ ನರನಾಡಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರು,
ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಉಂಟೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವ?
ಜಲವೇ ಅಲ್ವೇ ನಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ದೈವತ್ವ?
ಹನಿ ಹನಿ ಕೂಡಿದರೆ ಹಳ್ಳವಂತೆ,
ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಳಿಗೂ ಇದುವೇ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ,
ಮಲಿನ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕಾಯೋಣ ಜಲವನು,
ಉಳಿಸೋಣ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಈ ವರವನು.
ಜಲವೇ ಜೀವ, ಜಲವೇ ದೇವ,
ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸೋಣ ಈ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯ ಪರ್ವ!
